Best Sun Screens for Patio Review

1. Artpuch Sun Screen

View on Amazon

Stainless steel D-rings for a tight grip and a tear-resistant, long-lasting fabric are at the heart of this shade. It’s made of a breathable material that lets just the right amount of light in while blocking direct sun rays. Plus, it keeps the air underneath fresh and cool, unlike most sunscreens do. I also want to mention how versatile it is: you can use this product to cover patios, ponds, BBQ areas, gardens, lawns, and more.

Sadly, no matter how much tension you apply, the fabric will sag in the middle a little. The reason – the edges have a higher tension. Other than that, Artpuch did a good job with it.

As a balanced shade with no significant downsides, Artpuch’s offer might be one to consider. It does sag in the middle sometimes, but it’s highly customizable, easy to “install”, and will block the sun no matter how strong it is. High-grade materials are a part of the deal as well.

2. Ankuka Sun Screen

Folks in the market for something cheap will probably not like Ankuka’s shade. That’s because it’s the most expensive pick on the list. On the other hand, with it, you can expect easy, quick installation, strong protection against whatever nature throws its way, and industry-leading material quality. It’s waterproof, protects against 95% of UV rays, and features double-layer webbing for added durability.

Add anti-rust and anti-corrosion protection, and clever, efficient design, and you’ll get a bargain. So, if you’re ready to commit to a high-quality screen with a top dollar, this could actually be it.

Despite the high cost, Ankuka’s sun screen is worth your while. It doesn’t have any weak sides except for the steep price. All-around protection, superb build quality, and usability are its biggest selling points.

3. LyShade Triangle Sun Screen

This is one of those can’t-go-wrong-with purchases that you know will be a good “bang” for the buck. First of all, LyShade’s sunscreen boasts a trendy, somewhat exotic look. Secondly, it’s made of knitted polyethylene and will last for a very long time. It lets water (rain, for example) pass through so that it doesn’t create a pool.

Add stitched corners that take very little time to attach, and you’ll get easy no-hassle installation. On top of that, Triangle is a highly affordable purchase. The only downside – you won’t get any hardware for the installation. Keep that in mind and order a D-ring kit online or at the local store.

Easy to attach/take down, good-looking and made of premium-grade materials – that’s LyShade’s shade in short for you. It’s available at a very reasonable price and will protect you from heavy rain, and more. It doesn’t come with the necessary installation hardware, though.

Conclusion

Shades can be used in pretty much any spot that needs protection against UV rays, rain, and the wind. Say, you’ve got a patio and are looking to cover it – a sun screen will be exactly what you need. If you’re not ready to invest in an expensive accessory, LySHade’s Triangle will be a good place to start. It’s reasonably-priced and carries decent value.

Ankuka, in contrast, is not particularly cheap but does sweeten the deal with a long list of pros. Finally, with Artpuch, you can expect to get an all-around solid product. Yes, there’s enough to choose from, so, don’t rush yourself with the decision. Take some time, consider all the pros and cons, and only then make a purchase!
